Two Reading Podiums and a Case on Stand designed to hold and display a set of large Historic Bibles and Theological Writings. This was commissioned for the William Perkins Library of the Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary in Grand Rapids Michigan.
The drawers are designed to store a series of documents. The "lids" on the drawers can be used as secondary reading surfaces-either for a Bible retrieved from the space below or for one of the documents retrieved from inside the drawer.
The two reading stands each have Biblical texts in the panels. One from Matthew Chapter 5 -"The Beatitudes"
This Bible Case is a companion piece for the Torah Scroll Case on Stand. Built in August of 2021
The other is from Exodus- The Ten Commandments.
