My first piece for 2026 will  be this Breakfront Bookcase in Quarter Sawn White Oak.
The design features an overhead stained glass transom and two lower doors with leaded glass panels. These elements were made by a relative  my client.
The lower middle cabinet has a drawer that when opened can serve as a "desk".
The desk top opens for storage.
Fabrication is underway.  
The six cabinet carcasses are glued up 
The carcass and Door Panels will be made from Quarter Sawn Whit Oak veneer.  There will many sessions of gluing up veneer in the vacuum press.
This is the stained glass panel that will be mounted in the upper transom.
These are the glass panels that will be mounted in the lower side doors after they are repaired.
The main panels are complete and glued in place. The six individual cabinets are loosely clamped in place. Still have the shelves for the two side cabinets to press and install, then it's on to the doors. Then the base, the mid and upper crown moldings
The four doors are roughed in.
The crown molding is installed on the top of the three base cabinets.
