The upper cabinet must be changed to accommodate components that are 17.5" deep. I have made the top cabinet interior dimension the same as the bottom cabinet.
The door frame that holds the stained glass will be 1" thick. The door frames for the bottom cabinet will be .75" thick
Here is an idea to hold the Stained Glass Panel in place. The panel would be flush with the inside surface of the door frame-1/8th inch think Brass clips would hold the Panel in place-small shims-cardboard-etc could be inserted between the brass and the glass if necessary.

Reviewing Options for Door Design on Lower Cabinet
After a phone conversation on Sat- Jan 30 we confirmed that there will be Two doors for the lower cabinet with multi species wood overlays for each door.

Note: Due to dimension restrictions, the overlay designs are smaller than the design in the Stained Glass Window.

Here are two concepts for door hardware. I can carve the flower lines into wooden pieces. It may be possible to carve/grind the flower lines into Brass styles too-But harder to pull off- An alternative for a full Brass style is the flower profile with a recessed backgraound- but No flower lines.
All three doors will be held shut with inset magnets.
The upper cabinet's top will have a rounded over lip protruding from the front and side by approx 3/8" .

The lower cabinet will have a top and bottom rounded over lip protruding from the front and side by approx 3/8" .
The door profiles will be rounded over.
