This cabinet was designed around a piece of art work by Seth Young-my nephew and Dana's son.
This cabinet was built for my brother-Dana Young. The cabinet is made from Bird's Eye Maple veneer (the top), Pine veneer (Side Panels and Door Panel) and Walnut Trim. I fabricated the brass door handle in the form of a Pipe as Dana enjoys a "bowl" now and then. Dana has given it the allusively alluring alliterated title!
The cabinet top is made from Bird's Eye Maple veneer trimmed in Black Walnut
Seth's portrait of his father is mounted in the cabinet door. The door frame is solid Walnut with Pine veneer on the lower panel.
I fabricated the door handle out of brass to resemble a Pipe.
Dana has placed his Pipe collection on the cabinet top.
The inside of the cabinet contains a collection of pipe tobacco and other paraphernalia as well as a number of books and literature Dana is reading through.
