The three stands are finished. Here are a few pictures from the shop. I will find a more formal setting to taking final pictures and perhaps a video
This is a PDF that shows the details of the design.
First stand with text from St. Matthew
The Beatitudes
Stand with text from Exodos
The Ten Commandments
Second stand with text from St. Matthew
The Beatitudes
The back of each text panel is finished in an aged gilded shellac wash.
The "D" bracket and Captive Pull Pin to adjust the angle of the music desk. The are 5 positions in all. This shows the stand in vertical position.
Here are the stands in three different height positions. The stand on the left is in a middle position, stand in the middle is in the highest position and the stand on the right is in the lowest position. There are 8 height positions in all.
I made an alteration to the sheen of the desk tops of the three stands because I didn't like way the the high gloss looked in photographs or videos. Something interesting happened on two of  the stands when I recoated them in a lower sheen lacquer. Two stands developed a "cracked" finish-either because when I recoated them the humidity was too high and I applied a coating before the previous coat had lost it's moisture-or because I used lacquers that weren't compatible with each other.
Truth is I really like this effect for the patina of these ancient Biblical texts- And I tried to recreate this cracked phenomenon to see if I could reproduce this effect in case this look/feel is preferred by future clients, but I have so far been unsuccessful in reproducing this cracked/mottled effect.

As of this posting none of these are stands are yet destined for a particular client. I still have the option of removing the cracked finish and resurfacing these pieces with a normal smooth finish-but I'm going to keep- these stands as they are for now as I really like this effect. For more details on this "cracked" effect- see this you-tube video  https://youtu.be/qdWDHbHVrXM
