 I recently finished a contemporary Media Wall .  A flat screen TV will be surrounded by bookcases that rises to the cathedral ceiling. Sliding TV  doors open/shut and a long bank of cabinets are there to keep the "stuff" out of site. 
This was  one Huge project!

Cabinet no 4 for Sheet Music
This piece is a charming little Cherry Bookcase for my friend Martha.
This  cabinet is made from white oak and black walnut. It Celtic features including a Celtic Cross on the door panel, handmade brass door pull in  the form of a Celtic Cross, and Celtic Knots on the door frame and the cabinet top.
Here is a small Nightstand in Maple and Birch with a "Nutmeg" stain.

This piece is a Case on Stand and was designed to hold an antique Bible for the First Congregational Church  of Ann Arbor.  You'll see this piece on several pages of my website as it falls under several categories including a table and liturgical furniture.
Made as wedding gift for my son and his new bride, this hope chest is made from solid walnut, and sapele, with veneers of anigre and walnut. The interior is lined with aromatic cedar. A photograph of the couple taken on their wedding day is inset into the lid-and can be seen when the lid is opened. Gilded inset carvings frame the photograph.

This Side Cabinet is  Pine with inlayed Walnut strips and feet. 
This is my first "real" piece of furniture.  Dating from 1996- I designed and built this cabinet for the lobby of our church.

 Case on Stand  Version II
After building the case on the right-I received a commission to build a similar Case on Stand. This second version and was designed to hold an antique Bible for Levy Baptist Church of Little Rock, Arkansas.  
These are four pieces for an Ann Arbor client. 
An Entry hall tree and an Entry Bench
A sideboard in the Arts and Craft tradition with some slight Greene and Greene influences. 
Materials-Mahogany and Sapele.
Finish- Oil and Shellac for the base,carcase,and doors. Oil and Polyurethane for the drawers and top.
 Dimensions-35"H,19",D and 96" L
This cabinet in Cherry was completed in October 2016 for a couple in Washington D.C. The case is designed around a stained glass panel that the clients acquired and wanted to implement in the design. The upper case will hold audio components and the lower case will hold DVD's and CD's accessed by three drawers on extension slides. 
This is an Art Deco Bookcase I finished in early March 2018.

Sheet Music Cabinet no 9 is the fourth music cabinet and fifth commission from my college friend Galen.

The cabinet features the "Maria" Theme from West Side Story and Oboe silhouette as his daughter is named Maria and she plays the Oboe.
Materials-solid Cherry and Maple, veneers of Sapele, Anigre and Cherry.

This cabinet is a variation on the Victorian Music cabinet-(seen below) in Sapele and Mahogany-Handmade Brass Door Pull.

I designed and built two pieces for the William Perkins Library of Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary in Grand Rapids, Michigan. 

This Case on Stand with Reading Podiums was designed to hold a collection of Large Bibles and Historical Writings. This was completed in August, 2022
This  Torah Scroll Case on Stand was built in August of 2021.
