I recently finished a contemporary Media Wall . A flat screen TV will be surrounded by bookcases that rises to the cathedral ceiling. Sliding TV doors open/shut and a long bank of cabinets are there to keep the "stuff" out of site.
This was one Huge project!
Here's the first cabinet in a series designed to hold sheet music.
This cabinet is made from white oak and black walnut. It Celtic features including a Celtic Cross on the door panel, handmade brass door pull in the form of a Celtic Cross, and Celtic Knots on the door frame and the cabinet top.
Here is a small Nightstand in Maple and Birch with a "Nutmeg" stain.
This piece is a Case on Stand and was designed to hold an antique Bible for the First Congregational Church of Ann Arbor. You'll see this piece on several pages of my website as it falls under several categories including a table and liturgical furniture.
Made as wedding gift for my son and his new bride, this hope chest is made from solid walnut, and sapele, with veneers of anigre and walnut. The interior is lined with aromatic cedar. A photograph of the couple taken on their wedding day is inset into the lid-and can be seen when the lid is opened. Gilded inset carvings frame the photograph.
